LE BRASSEUR

Clément Jacques Vossen
150 × 150 cm

In Le Brasseur, Clément Jacques Vossen transforms a familiar Belgian figure into a colourful and theatrical character. Surrounded by hops and brewing symbols, the central figure combines humour, folklore and visual storytelling.

With its vibrant green background, exaggerated features and meticulously drawn details, the work celebrates Belgian culture while revealing the artist’s unmistakable figurative language.

LA CHIMÈRE

Clément Jacques Vossen
205 × 180 cm

In La Chimère, Clément Jacques Vossen expresses his profound affection for Belgium through a powerful imaginary creature.

The Flemish lion and the Walloon rooster are united by a single body adorned with irises, the symbol of Brussels. Three identities become one, creating a vivid and deeply personal vision of Belgium.

Far from opposing the country’s regions, Clément brings them together. With humour, colour and symbolism, the work becomes a celebration of unity, diversity and Belgian identity.
